Overview
OpenFlip turns a plain PDF into an interactive flipbook readable in the browser, with a reading experience close to paper: pagination, zoom, keyboard navigation.
The architecture is fullstack: a FastAPI backend on PostgreSQL manages documents and metadata, while a hybrid rendering engine combines server and client rendering to stay smooth on heavy documents. Everything is deployed to the cloud.
